The vibrant EEE department was started in the year 2002. In the changing scenario of higher education and emergence of knowledge society, the department strives to develop students to face the challenges. The department is enriched with qualified faculty members who lay emphasis on the knowledge content, utility value and latest developments. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a precious blend of two respective streams of Engineering; conservation of production from renewable energy resources will be the prime factors. Efforts are taken to enhance the same.

    • Engineering knowledge:Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
    • Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
    • Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
    • Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
    • Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

    • Creativity and Design: To develop the ability among students to synthesize the simulated outcomes and technical concepts for application to electrical elements and product design.
    • Software Competencies: To provide necessary foundation to simulate and to model the electrical designs practically in multidisciplinary areas towards product development in the field of electrical engineering.

    Our curriculum fortifies the students with exuberant knowledge in the related fields of energy management of modern power system and drives them to aid the substance of future. The Department has always been proactive in its academic planning and believes in gaining the first-mover advantage. The Department endeavors to improving their value-based ethics to smoothen the progress of every individual.

    Training Programmes

    The minds of the students  are trained to contemplate and concentrate with arduous energy through regular meditation hours. The students are refreshed at the commencement of each semester with personality development programmes to enrich their moral ability & to face the competitive world. The department offers courses of study that are on the frontiers of knowledge and it upholds the spiritual and practical dimensions of intellectual life  in a stimulating environment that fosters rigorous scholarship. Technical thirst of the students is fulfilled by conducting non-formal programmes like C / C++, PLC & SCADA, VLSI, Embedded System and so on.

    Recent Achievements

    The department has received the fund amount of Rupees Fifteen lakhs from AICTE through MODROBS scheme for the modernization of power system simulation lab.
