Shri. CA. N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over the function and delivered presidential address.
The chief guest Mr.Hemachandra Bhat, Head - UTLP Initiative, in his keynote address, said that the process of retention occurs in teaching and learning at different levels. While in teaching, it does happen after attaining 90% of information, long in learning it comes into effect after attaining 75%. Hence, both the teacher and the students are found to be in the ever long process of learning. Mission 10X was started by considering the interface between academia and companies. IIT provided their valuable comments, review and evaluated this mission 10x process and 4 other institutions stood as pioneers'. He added that structure is important than technology, so all students should concentrate on the structures. If an innovative idea is exhibited as a product, it would bring fame & name to the creator. Similarly, we should always feel proud for our innovations. Currently, the second year students will participate in the mission 10x and in their final year, the project that they develop will be based on the Mission 10x. Students should get motivated. They should start working towards the target. By this collective journey both the individual and the team will dully get benefitted.
Mr.P.B.KOTUR General Manager & Head, Mission 10X, in his keynote address, said that he felt very happy about the cleanliness and the clarity of the purpose of Paavai Institutions. He added that the center is of world class facility, and all should utilize to the best of their ability so that it will benefit their personal life, the society, the nation and the world. Paavai management acts as a bridge between the students and innovations. The small step placed by every learner will make a huge difference in the future. For a positive person all the discomforts are comforts and setting the target or destiny is simple. But the journey poses hurdles and challenges. Students should have an indomitable spirit to conquer their ordeals. He also added that there are skills that are trainable and non-trainable. Trainable skills are achieved with a little attempt or by taking more efforts. But the non-trainable skills are to be imbibed spontaneously. For example, energy, loyalty, flexibility, diligence and enthusiasm are non- trainable skills. An individual should possess 3C - competence, Conduct and Character. Students should focus on quality, cost, and services on par with international standards. God, the engineer, created the universe and every engineer should be the future God in his/her own sphere of learning, work and innovation.
Dr.A.Suphalakshmi proposed a vote of thanks. Prof.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration of Paavai Institutions, Mr. S.
