Workshop on "Embedded Systems"
A workshop on "EMBEDDED SYSTEMS" was organized on 20.02.2016 at smart Hall by the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal.
Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Institutions, presided over the inaugural function. Mr.K.Santhoshkumar, III year Mechatronics Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Mr.Amit Kumar Johri, Sr. Engineer and Project Coordinator, Embegins Technology, Coimbatore, was the Chief Guest. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal and Mr.D.R.P.Rajarathnam, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department, graced the occasion.
Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, in his presidential address, explained about the concept of Industry 4.0, the future industrial revolution that is called "Internet of Things". It involves Data and Services and how they get connected to embedded system production technologies and smart production processes to pave the way to a new technological age.
