01.TECHNICAL QUIZ
- Prelims will be conducted depending on the number of participant
- The round contains 20 multiple choice questions based on engineering basics. Participants will get only 20 min
- Any kind of malpractice / misbehaviour is strictly prohibited
- In case of any disputes the decision made by judges/ coordinators is the final.
02.CAD MODELLING
- All students should present with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes.
- Each team has to prepare 3D Model for the given component.
- Evaluation is based on completion of job with all details at the earliest time.
- The decision of the jury shall be final and binding.
03.WATER ROCKETRY
- Only one two-liter bottle may be filled with water and pressurized. The pressurized bottle itself
must not be modified structurally. Additions to the bottle (such as fins, nose cone, etc.) may be
attached using ONLY tape.
- Paint or decorations on the plastic of the pressurized bottles are prohibited. Only tape, paper and
plastic may be in direct contact with the pressurized bottle. Tape covering the bottle and other
parts of the rocket may be painted or otherwise decorated.
- Each rocket is officially launched and judged only once.
- Rockets considered unsafe to launch by the judges will be disqualified
04.IC RACE
- The engine may have a total capacity of not more than 3.5 cubic centimetres/0.214 cubic inches.
No tolerance allowed.
- The minimum weight limit of the cars is 2350 grams/5,181 pounds. The weight limit will be checked with
the car being ready to race but with empty fuel tank and with timing transponder installed.
- 4-wheel brakes (no independently controlled braking on the front wheels is allowed)
- Liquid cooled engines
- Hydraulic system
- More than 2 servos
- No more than 3-speed transmissions.
