The Department of Physics, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day Student webinar on “APPLICATIONS OF BIO MATERIALS” on 07th March’2026. The webinar Programme was organised by Professor & Head of the Department Dr.T. Krishnakumar and coordinated by Dr.S. Kavitha, and Mrs.C.Barathi, along with faculty members. Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his Presidential Address on the occasion. Dr.K.Selvi, Dean Academics, introduced the Chief Dr T. JAYASREE, Assistant Professor (Sl. Gr.) Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and Nayama Sajith, First year Pharma, Paavai Engineering College, welcomed the gathering.
After that, the floor was handed over to the chief guest. She imparted her knowledge of biomaterials and their use in the medical field, and she also explained ceramics in various applications. Students have a detailed understanding of and familiarity with the applications biomaterials. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened to the participants for interactions. The vote of thanks was proposed by N.Gowtham from the first Year/AIDS-B. Thanks to our Management, Director-Admin, Principal and Staff members for their support and for making the event a very successful one.
