The department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College organized in Association with Institution’s innovation council (IIC-PEC) & Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) a webinar on account of National Technology Day on 11th May 2022. Ms.V.Amulya from Third year B.Tech/IT did the master of ceremony and Ms.K.Sowmya from Second year B.Tech/IT welcomed the gathering. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, The convenor of IIC-Paavai Engineering College, delivered her presidential address on the occasion. Ms.M.Atchaya from second year B.Tech /IT delivered chief guest introduction and the floor was handed over to the chief guest Dr.P.Karthikeyan, Post Doctoral Researcher, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan. He shared his knowledge on Technology development and modern technological world, and also the achievements of India every year on the National Technology Day. He also extended his speech on computer vision and its importance in the research area. The session was very informative and interesting. Then the floor was opened for the participants for the queries and finally the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.T.Niranjan Kumar from second Year / IT.
