The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized an online guest lecture titled “Applications of AI in Aeronautical Engineering” on 28.09.2026. The programme, conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, was aimed at disseminating knowledge among students on cutting-edge technological advancements and the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence within the aviation sector. The inaugural session commenced with the welcome address delivered by Ms. S. Devadharshini, III Year, B.E. Aeronautical Engineering, who set a professional tone for the proceedings.
The resource person, Dr. Madhanraj.V, Associate Professor, AMC Engineering College, Bangalore, delivered an informative and technically enriching lecture on bridging academic theory with modern digital applications. He explained key concepts detailing how AI algorithms are revolutionizing aircraft design, flight data analysis, and predictive maintenance. The students gained valuable insights into these emerging paradigms and their practical applications in aeronautics. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. S. Prasanya, III Year, B.E. Aeronautical Engineering, who expressed gratitude to the management, organizers, and the esteemed guest speaker for a highly informative and engaging session.
