Guest Lecture on “Mind you Mind and Master your Mind”

The Department of Management Studies organized an online Guest Lecture on 29.04.2026. The session was delivered by Dr. S. Saminathan.

The objective of the session was to help students understand the concept of “Mind Your Mind and Master Your Mind.”

The session was presided over by Dr. M. Prem Kumar, who delivered an inspiring presidential address emphasizing the importance of understanding and mastering one’s mind for personal and professional growth.

During the session, Dr. S. Saminathan shared valuable insights into understanding the human mind and its impact on daily life. He motivated students by highlighting the importance of controlling one’s thoughts to achieve personal and academic success. Various practical approaches, including mindfulness techniques, stress management strategies, and positive thinking habits, were discussed in an engaging and interactive manner.

A total of 120 participants attended the event, including 114 students and 6 faculty members.

The outcome of the event was that students became more confident, proactive, and emotionally aware, preparing them for success in academics, careers, and the modern virtual world.
