Paavai Engineering College, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, organized a One Day Hands-on Training Programme on “Foundations of Business Analytics and Data Visualization Tools” on 29 July 2026 at the Cute Hall.
The programme commenced with a warm Welcome Address delivered by S. Abinaya, IV Year AI & DS (Department Secretary), who welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The Felicitations Address was delivered by Dr. M. Prem Kumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, who extended his wishes for the successful conduct of the programme.
The Chief Guest Introduction was given by R. Praveena, IV Year AI & DS, who introduced the resource person and highlighted his professional expertise. The Chief Guest, Mr. T. Rajan, M.E., (Ph.D.), Lecturer – Computing and Engineering, University of West London, RAK Campus, UAE, addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights into the foundations of business analytics and data visualization.
The hands-on training programme provided students with practical exposure to business analytics concepts and data visualization tools. The resource person explained the importance of analysing data effectively and presenting information through meaningful visualizations. The interactive nature of the session helped students gain a better understanding of how analytics and visualization tools can be applied to real-world business situations.
The programme served as a valuable platform for students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to enhance their technical knowledge and practical skills in business analytics and data visualization. The session also encouraged students to explore data-driven approaches for effective decision-making.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by T. Nivetha Shree, IV Year AI & DS, who expressed gratitude to the management, Principal, resource person, faculty coordinators, and all participants for their valuable support and contribution towards the successful completion of the programme.
