The Department of Agricultural Engineering of Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), in association with the Paavai Innovation Forum, Institution’s Innovation Council, and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, organized an MOU Signing Ceremony and Guest Lecture titled “My Story / Motivational Expert Session by Successful Innovator & Entrepreneur” on 16 March 2026 at Cute Hall.
The program was conducted under the guidance of the management and IIC Ambassador, Professor Dr.P.Tamilchelvan along with faculty members to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration among students. The event aimed to inspire students to develop innovative ideas and explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
The program commenced with a prayer followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr.B.Kailashkumar, Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering. He welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students and emphasized the importance of innovation, research, and entrepreneurial thinking among engineering students.
The presidential address was delivered by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director (Admin) of Paavai Educational Institutions, Namakkal. In his address, he encouraged students to utilize institutional resources and develop practical solutions for real-world problems through innovation and technology.
Dr. R. R. Krishnamurthy, Director, Centre of Research, also addressed the gathering and motivated the students to actively participate in research activities and innovation-driven projects. He highlighted the importance of creativity, dedication, and continuous learning for achieving success in both research and entrepreneurship.
The keynote address was delivered by R. Killivalavan, Proprietor of Dhevakane Enterprises, Rasipuram. During his motivational session, he shared his entrepreneurial journey, challenges, and experiences in building a successful enterprise. He emphasized the importance of hard work, determination, and innovative thinking in achieving professional success. His inspiring speech motivated students to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.
The event concluded successfully with active participation from students and faculty members. The program served as a valuable platform for students to gain insights into entrepreneurship, innovation, and real-world industrial experience.
