The Women Empowerment Series XXVI, titled “பாவையரின் பெருமை பன்முகத்திறமை”, was organized on 31st January 2025 at Dheeram Convention Centre.
The session commenced with the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku and a prayer song. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. V. S. Nithiyasri, a second-year M.A. English student.
The presidential address was delivered by Shri CA. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions. In his thought-provoking speech, he highlighted the multifaceted nature of women, drawing an example of a mother who efficiently manages household duties while handling multiple responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of respecting women for their ability to juggle various tasks simultaneously.
Following this, Ms. S. Parvatambika from I B.Sc. Computer Science introduced the chief guest, Mrs. Charumathi Muralitharan, a renowned theater artist and multilingual vocalist. She delivered an inspiring speech on how women should strive to develop multifaceted skills in all areas of life. She shared personal experiences of honing multiple skills—both academic and extracurricular—with the support of her mentors and parents. Additionally, she encouraged students to create a five-year plan for their future achievements.
Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, felicitated the gathering and motivated students to become multifaceted personalities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. K. Vidhya from I B.Sc. CS (AI & DS).
