The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Paavai Engineering College organized an Online Guest lecture ” Embedded Systems Application for Electric Vehicles” on 02 December, 2023 at online mode. Dr. S.Uma, Associate Professor, Department of EEE, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai – 600025 were the resource person. The welcome address was given by R.Elakya, 2nd year EEE and Chief Guest introduction given by N.Kaviya, 2nd year EEE . The resource persons explained about the significance of Introduction to Electric Vehicles (EVs), Role of Embedded Systems in EVs, Battery Management System (BMS), Powertrain Control and Motor Control, Safety and Vehicle Control, Charging Infrastructure Integration, Connectivity and Telematics, Driver Assistance Systems and Autonomous Features, Energy Management and Efficiency, Diagnostics, Maintenance, and Data Collection.
The Head of Department, Senior faculty members and Students have participated in the session and benefitted. The Vote of thanks was delivered by D.Nancy, 2nd year EEE in the end. Dr.G.Balaji, Prof and Head/EEE, Dr.A.Rathinam, Prof/EEE and M.Raja Assistant Professor/EEE took care of the arrangements required to organize the program.
