The Department of Management Studies, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized a guest lecture on World Entrepreneurs Day, titled “Turn your passion into Profit” on 21st August 2023 from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in Cute Hall, Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal .
The event started with the prayer song by choir group and the master of ceremony was done by Ms. S.Shravya Lakshmi of Second year MBA welcomed the gathering. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College by quoting the qualities required for the youth to startup a business by quoting a Thirukkural.
Dr.K.S.Kavitha, Professor and Head/MBA, Paavai Engineering College felicitated the gathering by her motivational speech about the skills needed for a MBA student to start a Business. Ms. Devarooba of Second year MBA gave guest introduction about the two guest speakers namely Ms. M. ABINAYA and Ms. T. ANU VARSHINI, Founder of Arva Trinkets, Salem who took over the session.
Ms. T. Anu Varshini the guest speaker spoke about how modern technology is used to start and brand the business across the world with the help of social medias at low cost. The students was enthusiastic and motivated by her speech. Next, Ms. M. Abinaya spoke about how to start small business with affordable amount and she also said more about franchising. The session was ended by clearing doubts of the students by the speakers.
At last, Mr. Sabarishkumar of Second year MBA thanked the guest speaker, faculty members and the participants by delivering the vote of thanks.
