PEC signed an MoU with Talent Quest for India (TQI) in 2022

The program started with an invocation by the students. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Paavai Engineering College and Talent Quest for India (TQI) on 01.10.2022. The program started in the presence of Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, Dr.A.Immanuel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, Mr.G.Ramasubramaniam, Founder & Chief Listening Officer, Talent Quest for India, Chennai and Faculty Coordinator Mr.S.Sathish, AP, ECE, along with the TQI  volunteers of Paavai Engineering College.

Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College presided over the function, signed the MoU and delivered the presidential address. In his address, he highlighted the importance of students’ social responsibilities. He motivated the students to be receptive and informative about the happenings and serve the society.

The session was carried over by the guest speaker Mr.G.Ramasubramaniam, Founder & Chief Listening Officer, Talent Quest for India, Chennai. In his note, he mentioned that Paavai is the main hub for TQI since its inception from the year 2014 and has more active volunteers till date. He thanked the Principal, Paavai Engineering College for his continuous motivation and support. The orientation and training session was conducted for TQI west zone-1 volunteers from various colleges in and around Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. Around 90 volunteers participated in this program and training session. Daan Utsav – The joy of giving was inaugurated by the Principal through donating books and stationeries in this program.

Earlier T.Dhivakaran, Final year, ECE welcomed the gathering. S.S.Samitharaj, Final year, Food Technology introduced the chief guest. V.Navin Kumar, Final year, Aeronautical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.

The workshop provided an interactive platform where students engaged with real-world problems and collaborated on innovative solutions. The sessions were led by experienced instructors, who ensured that participants acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in AI and ML development. This event marked a significant step toward empowering students with the latest technological advancements, preparing them for future challenges in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The session ended with a Vote of Thanks by G.Nithya Shrri III Year, ECE. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, HoD/ECE was the Convener. Dr.T.Loganayagi, Prof/ECE and Mrs.A.Sujitha, AP/ECE organised the event. Around 180 students attended this workshop.
