The IQAC Department of Paavai Engineering College organized a seminar on “Orientation on the New Norms of NAAC” on 21.04.2026 at Kalam’s Chamber, Paavai Engineering College.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. K. Sundaramurthy, Head/IQAC, Paavai Engineering College.
The Chief Guest, Dr. G. Tholkappiya Arasu, was formally introduced by Mr. R. Bharath, Assistant Professor, Department of Robotics and Automation. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions.
Dr. G. Tholkappiya Arasu elaborated on the “New Norms of NAAC” and highlighted the recent changes introduced by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The seminar was organized to create awareness among faculty members regarding the updated accreditation criteria, quality benchmarks, and best practices required for institutional excellence.
The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty members of Paavai Engineering College (PEC) and Paavai College of Engineering (PCE).
The session concluded with an engaging interactive discussion, during which faculty members clarified their queries and gained deeper insights into the new norms of NAAC. The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. P. Pugalenthi, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
