A guest lecture was organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics, Namakkal, on November 19, 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The session featured Mr. K. Gaushik, Marketing Director and Managing Director of Expert Edge Medical Innovation, Chennai, and Ms. Kavushika Nachimuthu, Director of Administration at Expert Edge Medical Innovation, Chennai, as guest speakers. The topic of the lecture was “Scopes in Biomedical Engineering.”
During the session, Mr. K. Gaushik discussed various career opportunities in the biomedical engineering industry. He provided valuable insights into the challenges faced in the field and strategies to overcome them, sharing practical knowledge to guide students in their professional journeys.
Ms. Kavushika Nachimuthu offered a comprehensive overview of the biomedical engineering domain, focusing on how students can enter the field. This online session was conducted in the afternoon and was attended by second-year, third-year, and final-year students from both Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics programs.
