The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Energy Club of Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized an industrial visit to 400/230kV Substation, K.R.Thoppur located in the Salem district on 2nd September (Friday) 2022.
Fifty-nine students of fifth semester Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch who were accompanied by four faculty members took part in the visit.
Under the guidance of the employees, students were taken to different sections of the plant to observe diverse operations in a 400KV substation.
The students had a great experience in visiting the plant and got an insight of the actual working of the substation.
Industrial Visit was coordinated by Dr.G.Balaji (Head-EEE) and Mr.V.Kumarakrishnan (AP/EEE), Mrs.S.Suganya (AP/EEE).
