The Department of EEE in association with energy club of PEC organized a one day seminar on “A Role of Electrical Engineers in Power Sector” on 20.05.2022

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with Energy Club of Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized A One Day Seminar on A ROLE OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS IN POWER SECTOR on 20th May 2022 at Kalams Chamber. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, presided over the function and insisted the importance of power sectors to the students.

Er.A.Sivaraman, Assistant Executive Engineer/Electrical, TNEB/TANGEDCO, Namakkal Electricity Distribution Circle, Namakkal was the guest speaker. He initiated his lecture with the basics of power systems, power flow and the significance of power system studies. Then, he explained an overview of the challenges of the power sector for electrical engineers. He narrated the role of electrical engineers in power sector and in society. Finally he interacted with the Students and clarified their doubts about power systems and its structures. The seminar has proven to be very inspiring and informative for the students.

Earlier, Selvan.K.Prasad, II year EEE welcomed the gathering, Selvi.M.Risheba, III Year EEE introduced the chief guest and Selvan.S.Sathishkumar, III Year EEE delivered the vote of thanks.

Totally, 200 participants benefited from this programme.
