The Department of Management studies, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) organized a work shop on “STATISTICAL PACKAGES FOR SOCIAL SCIENCES (SPSS )” on 28th March 2024.
Ms. S. Jayapreethi of first year MBA did the master of ceremony, Ms. R. Deepika, of first year MBA welcomed the gathering. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College. Felicitation was delivered by Dr.T. Kalaiselvi, Director /MBA, Paavai Engineering College.
Ms. S. Devadharshini of First Year MBA introduced the Chief Guest with his successful profile and the first half of the session was handed over to the guest Dr. D. DILIP, Senior and Area Chair Operations Division, VIT Business School, Vellore. The session was more informative which makes the students aware about statistical calculation for their project works. He also thought basics of the software , Descriptive statistics and Hypothesis.
Next half of the session handed over to Dr. MAMILLA RAJESH, Professor/Head MBA, VIT Business School, Vellore. His focus area was correlation and regression and chi-square.
He stated the importance of computer applications that are available for management studies and end of the program feed back was given by the students about the program. Mr. L. ANBARASAN of first year MBA thanked all the dignitaries, faculty members and the participants by delivering the vote of thanks.
