The Electronics club of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering had organized an event “Puzzle Masters” on 31st October 2022 from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. Mrs.K.Uma, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Paavai Engineering College was the Jury. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor and Mr.S.Sathish, Electronics Club coordinators along with student coordinators G.Anbarasan from final year, S.Niranjan from third year, V.Dharanidharan from second year ECE organized the event. The welcome address was given by B.Dharani third year ECE. Mrs.K.Uma, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Paavai Engineering College was the Jury.
There were 87 participants in total and the first round was written examination that was conducted in the Main Building Seminar hall. The shortlisted students attended the second round in the Main building ECE Smart Classroom No.213. that was ii) Sort Words Puzzles and the third round was iii) Brain teasers and Visual Illusions. I.Thamarai Selvan and his team from second year CSE got the first place. V.Vijayakumar and his team from third year Pharmaceutical engineering bagged the second place. As per the feedback collected from the students, they added that this event has provoked their critical thinking and they were able to check their mental ability in solving the puzzles soon.
