The event titled “Startup Company Incorporation Process, Benefits of Startup Registration, and the Essential Conditions for Eligibility and Compliance” was organized by the EDC/Civil Department of Paavai Engineering College on 17.08.2026.
The programme was conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Cute Hall. CA Adithya R, Proprietor of M/s A R T & Co., Salem, and served as the guest speaker. The session focused on the procedures involved in incorporating a startup company and the importance of startup registration. The speaker explained the major benefits and opportunities available to registered startups.
The essential eligibility conditions for obtaining startup recognition were discussed in detail. Participants were also introduced to important statutory and regulatory compliance requirements. The programme helped students understand the practical aspects of establishing a new business venture. It created awareness about entrepreneurship and encouraged students to explore innovative business ideas. The session highlighted the role of startups in employment generation and economic development. Students gained insights into business registration and professional financial practices.
The event also connected academic learning with real-world entrepreneurial practices. Around 85 participants from different departments attended the programme. The interaction with an industry professional provided valuable practical exposure to the students. The event supported SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. It also contributed to the development of professional and entrepreneurial skills. Overall, the programme was informative and beneficial for students interested in startups and entrepreneurship.
