Pavai Arts and Science College for Women organized the Women Empowerment Series XXXII on 11.08.2026 at Dheeram Hall. The title of the event was “திரையிசையில் பெண்மையின் உயரிய பரிமாணங்கள் – தாயாக, மகளாக, மனைவியாக மற்றும் தலைவியாக.”
The program commenced with a prayer song and Tamilthai Vaazhthu by our students. Ms. M.S. Monica from III B.Sc AI & DS welcomed the gathering.
Shri. CA. N.V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Institutions, Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent, the Senior Principal & Principal ,Heads of various Departments and faculty members graced the occasion. The Chairman honoured the Chief Guest with a shawl and memento and delivered the Presidential Address. He emphasized the importance of learning and reading every day. Reflecting on the journey from Series 1 to 32, he reiterated the institution’s commitment to empowering women through this platform.
Ms. S. Pradeepa from II B.Com introduced the Chief Guest, Ms. V. Hemavardhini, Speaker. In her inspiring address, she stated that a woman is the pride of society and plays multiple roles — as a mother, daughter, wife, and leader. Through her melodious voice, she sang songs dedicated to each role, making the session interactive and engaging. She motivated students to take pride in womanhood and to aim for greater achievements at every stage of life.
Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions, felicitated the gathering. She spoke about how the 32 series of the Women Empowerment Mission have been conducted to elevate women to greater heights, and extended her wishes for the students’ success.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by V. Durgasri from I B.Com, followed by the National Anthem.
