A one day Alumni Webinar on the title “Post Study Opportunities in India and Abroad” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai engineering college on 13.11.2021. Ms. S.U.Sushmaa, Third year student welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his presidential address on this event. He addressed to students, about the scope of Civil Engineering as well as about its Job opportunities in Society. Mrs.K.Sharmila devi, Head of the Department introduced the speaker and gave an overview about Civil Engineering aspects. Mr.Visanth Renu (Batch 2014 – 2018), B.E., (M.S) Geotechnical Engineering, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom was the guest speaker. He explained about the various career prospectuses in India and Abroad. He also described about the several job opportunities in Civil Engineering field. He elaborated about the various Graduate schemes and Internship offers. Faculty members and students have actively participated in the one day webinar and queries from the students were effectively replied by the speaker. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.R.Surya, Second year student and our one day Alumni webinar was successfully concluded. The session was very informative and knowledgeable.
