The Guest Lecture on Innovation and Sustainable Chemical Process For Waste Water Treatment was organized by Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Food Technology at Kalam Chamber situated at Paavai Engineering College for almost 2 hrs.
The Guest speaker of the day Dr.M.Arivazhagan who is a Professor in NIT Tiruchirapalli. He has been graduated with M.Tech in Anna University and Ph.D in NIT, Trichy in the Department of Chemical Engineering
His run behind the term “Innovator” always made him remarkable in his own way of thinking and planning.

As the saying, He got fund around 8lakhs on the project of Analysis of the ground water quality and the effect of conventional disinfection in water supply
He have organized TEQIP and Self-sponsored workshops. He has visited Taiwan, Indonesia, Kuwait, Singapore, Malaysia for Conferences and Research Interaction.
He has presented paper in National and International conferences and delivers literature’s. He has guided 2 students for Ph.D in the Department of Chemical engineering in the topic of Heat transfer Characteristics of Nano fluids in a Coiled agitated Vessel and Distillery Effluent Treatment Processes.
He has got the Best Teacher Award in the year 1997 and 1998.He got Young Scientist Fellowship in the year 2004.
He concluded the session with an interaction where his aspiration towards innovation and his clarification towards Wastewater treatment was portrayed in a novel manner.
