The department of MCA, Paavai Engineering College in association with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) organized a one day seminar on Achieving “Value Proposition Fit” and “Business Fit” on 22nd August 2023. The resource persons for the seminar were Mr.P.Vijayaragavan, Founder, Feathers Info Tech., Salem and Mr.M.Sureshkumar, Director, Feathers Info Tech., Salem. The function started with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings. Ms.R.Gowri, II-Year MCA, welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College.
Dr.M.Premkumar, in his presidential address, insisted on the importance of seminars and workshops to enhance the knowledge of the students and also, advised them to develop their attitude, skills and knowledge. Finally, he motivated the students to become successful entrepreneurs. Introduction of the chief guest was given by Ms.R.GNeha, II-Year MCA.
The chief guest, Mr.P.Vijayaragavan, in his keynote, addressed the students and said not to depend on salary. He added that if all students work towards becoming dynamic entrepreneurs, India will become powerful country in the world. He gave detailed information about value proposition and value stated by a company that summarizes how the benefits of the company’s product or service will be delivered, experienced, and acquired.
The guest speaker Mr.M.Sureshkumar, explained about the key concepts of Business fit, importance of business fit, ft between organization and the Environment, Problem-Solution Fit, Product-Market Fit and Business Model Fit. He gave detailed information about Blockchain Technology Evolution, Blockchain Working principles, Blockchain Platform, Decentralization in Blockchain and Blockchain Applications for industries.
The session was an interactive one and helped the students to clear their queries by the resource persons. The outcome of this one day seminar was that the students were able to understand the concepts of Value proposition fit, Business Fit and Blockchain technology and to become entrepreneurs.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr.R.Dilip, II-year MCA. Heads of various Departments, Professors, and Faculty members actively participated in the progamme and made it a grand success. Mr.C.Rathnakumar, Associate Professor, Department of MCA, organized this seminar. The students from MCA and Cyber Security department participated with full motivation and got benefitted by this seminar.
