The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Paavai Engineering College has organized an online webinar on “Intellectual Property Day” Online Workshop on Insights To Intellectual Property Rights ” through the Microsoft team’s platform on 30.08.2023 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon.
The session continued with the resource person’s talk. He emphasized on the significance of this workshop as well as the numerous operations of our IIC & EDC cell. Earlier Selvan. Komaraprasad, IV Year EEE, introduced the Chief Guest. Mr.T.Rajamanikandan, Head (IPR & Product Development), Department of EEE, Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology, Trichy. Commenced the session with a quote “Innovation is equal to Creativity and Commercialization”. He has talked about the definitions of intellectual property and intellectual property rights, the global IPR regime, and Indian laws governing IPR. He concluded the session using Bill Ford as a real-life example. He concluded the session by insisting the participants to develop innovative ideas
