Dr.T. Arun kumar, is working as a Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), Pachal, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. He received his Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from Periyar University Salem in the year 2001. He graduated with his Masters in Biochemistry from University of Madras in the year 2003. He then graduated with his Master of Technology in BioInformatics from Sathyabama University, Chennai, in first class with distinction in the year 2007. He then completed his PhD in Bioengineering in 2017. His research work has been in the field of Microbial Technology. He has more than 12 years of teaching and 3 years of research experience in the field of Bioengineering. He has published 9 scientific papers in WOS and SCI indexed International journals with a good impact factor and 12 publications in National and International Conferences. He has organized various technical symposia, workshops and Conferences as a coordinator for students. He has done Sequencing and the sequence was deposited in Genbank – NCBI with Accession number for 19 sequences. In addition, he has also guided projects for B.Tech & M.Tech Students. He is a question paper setter for various Universities and Autonomous Colleges.
