The event was presided over by CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of social responsibility and service to society, highlighting the role of educational institutions in promoting public health and community welfare.

The Chief Guest, Rtn. MPHF Er. E. N. Surendiran, President of Rotary Club, Rasipuram, delivered an insightful address on community service and its societal benefits. He appreciated the institution’s initiative in organizing health-focused camps. He elaborated on the history and global presence of Rotary International, founded in 1905 in the United States by Paul Harris. He noted that Rotary operates in more than 200 countries with nearly 1.5 million members and actively contributes to humanitarian services in education, healthcare, social welfare, environmental protection, and youth development. He also highlighted Rotary’s significant contribution to making India a polio-free nation.

In his speech, he stressed that despite rapid advancements in medical science and technology, various diseases continue to affect the population. One such condition is osteoporosis, commonly known as bone weakening, which predominantly affects the elderly people. Bone Mineral Density (BMD) testing plays a crucial role in the early detection of osteoporosis by assessing calcium and phosphorus levels in bones. Early diagnosis enables timely treatment and preventive care. He further stated that such camps not only create awareness among the public but also offer students valuable opportunities to enhance their domain knowledge and practical exposure.

Mrs.Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions, delivered the felicitation address. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr. K. K.
