Academic Year 2024-2025

NHAI INTERNSHIP:

20 number of our 3^rd year Civil Engineering students has got an opportunity to undergo Internship in National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the Academic year (2024 – 2025). Students will gain exposure to highway construction, Safety regulations, Maintenance practices and project planning used in the construction industry through this Internship.

Academic Year 2023-2024

ISTE CHAPTER – BEST STUDENT AWARD:

Our Final year student Ms.R. Sharumathi (2020 – 2024) got ISTE Best Student Award for the year 2023 – 2024.

Mr.R.Surya and Ms.R. Sharumathi students of Civil Engineering Department has received grant of Rs.13.35 lakhs for the project “Rapid Decomposition of Solid waste” under MSME 2.O Innovative Scheme, a component of MSME Champions Scheme to Central Tool Room and Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Academic year 2022-2023

Mr.R.Surya, final year student of Civil Engineering has secured state level 2^nd prize in Gold Medal Contest 2022-2023 organized by the Federation of all Civil Engineers Associations of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (FACEAT & P). He has been awarded with 2 gram gold coin with a shield on 28.03.2023 at Tirunelveli. Out of 89 Final participants from all over Tamil Nadu were selected for Final round, among that, our student Mr.R.Surya has secured 2^nd place at State Level.

Our honorable Chairman sir and Correspondent madam appreciated him for the achievement on 06.04.2023    

20 number of our 3^rd year Civil Engineering students has got an opportunity to undergo 1 month Internship in National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) from 02.08.2022 with stipend. Students will gain exposure to highway construction, safety regulations, maintenance practices, and project planning used in the construction industry through this internship.

Our 3^rd and 4^th year students acted as a  volunteers in Build Expo and displayed the project “Treatment of Automobile Wastewater using Terafill candle filter” in Project Expo Contest “Emerging Engineers” at Build expo, Salem from  30.12.2022 – 02.01.2023 and awarded with cash prize of Rs.4000/-

Our students K.Santhosh, M.Yuvraj, M.Ramya & S.Dinesh of Final Year Civil Engineering got Best Innovative Project Award in Indo Taiwan Summit held on 26.02.2019 in Paavai Engineering College

INTERNSHALA STUDENT PARTNER AWARD

• Our students Rishya (IV year civil) and S.Mohammed Faizal (III year civil) of Paavai Engineering College received the “Internshala Student Partner” from Internshala and receives stipend from the internship they do in various company through Internshala. Our Management appreciated and congratulated their efforts

SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS

• Our student Monisha of Final Year Civil has won third place in State Games for CHIEF MINSTER’S TROPHY in Boxing organized by Sports Development Authority of TamilNadu held on 01.03.2017 to 04.03.2017

• Our student A.Muralitharan of Third Year Civil has won first place in State Games for CHIEF MINSTER’S TROPHY in Ball Badminton with a cash prize of Rs.1, 00,000/- organized by Sports Development Authority of TamilNadu held on 15.02.2019 to 17.02.2019 

ICTACT YOUTH ICON 2016

Our student Mr.M.Vigneshkumar (2013-2017), final year, Civil Engineering has won the title ICTACT YOUTH ICON 2016 in the National Finale of ICTACT YOUTH PRESENT 2016.
