PLACEMENT COMMIITTE

The Placement Committee of the college, which plays a vital role in measuring a smooth & efficient placement process, co-ordinates all the efforts and activities directed towards ensuring utmost satisfaction to the needy students for their placement. This committee is headed by the Principal, chief Coordinated by the Placement Head and the placement team members & the department faculty coordinators are the members of the committee.

The Roles and Responsibilities of the Committee are:

  • Registration Process: Registration of eligible and interested candidates 30 minutes before Pre-Placement talk shall be done by student coordinators. To display welcome poster for the company visiting our campus: this includes name of the company, their team members, name of the program and venue.
  • Allocation of Rooms: Arranging classrooms for aptitude test, group discussion and interview process.
  • Hospitality: Arrangement of breakfast, lunch and snacks for the recruiters.
  • Updating Records: Staff Co-coordinators will update their departmental records, prepare analysis, and collect proofs from students.
  • Placement cell constantly works towards inviting more repudiated companies for campus placement.
  • Find ways and means to improve Industry –Institute Interactions.

Various Activities of the committee are:

  • Providing an adequate employment related information, at periodic intervals.
  • Arranging in-plant training and industrial visits, during every academic year.
  • Facilitate Student Internships, during every academic year.
  • Organizing guest lectures by inviting Corporate Professionals & distinguished Educationists/Academicians.
  • Imparting personality development programs to enhance the soft skills & Communications skills of the Students.
  • To motivate aspiring students to prepare for higher studies and guiding them to take exams such as CAT, GATE, TOEFL, GRE, IES,UPSC,TNPSC etc.
  • Conducting Mock & Preparatory Tests to take up competitive examinations for Higher Studies or for Employment.
  • Ensuring training for students during vacations, by proven & reputed firms.- both on General Aptitude and Technical Aptitude.
  • Arranging ON / OFF campus interviews, during the odd semester of Final Year of Study.
  • The cell has a good track record in placing students in various reputed organizations, year after year.
