The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) organized an online seminar “Opportunities after Engineering through GATE/ESE/PSU” on 03.10.2022 from 7.00p.m. to8.15p.m. to make the students aware of the various opportunities during and after the course of Engineering through various competitive examinations.Mr.ManimohanTrinath, Senior Faculty, ACE Engineering Academy,Hyderabad was the resource speaker. The welcome address was given by Shanmathi from third-year ECE.
The resource speaker addressed the students regarding the advantages of joining job at an early age, the various opportunities in different sectors of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He also explained the top IT companies in specific sectors and for ECE too. He also briefed the Public Sector Undertakings through GATE and other competitive examinations. He also stressed the importance of Engineering Services Examination and its impact on the students. He also motivated the students to utilize all these opportunities to cherish in this life.Dr.M.Sudha, Professor and Head, ECE, Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor,MrS.VijayaKumar, the event coordinators along with student coordinators S.Srinithi Gayathiri from final year, K.Poovizhi from the third year ECE and around 130 participants attended the session. As per the feedback collected from the students, they added it was an excellent session,that has made them realize the importance and impact of taking up competitive examinations.
