The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC-PEC) & EDC, Institution of Engineers (India), Salem organized a Guest Lecture Titled “My Story – Motivational Session by an Entrepreneur” on 27.02.2024. The Program’s goal was to explain students how Engineers can start their own businesses. The Welcome Address was given by P.Aasha, Third year/ECE.
Dr. M. Sudha, Head / ECE convened the gathering, followed by Dr. R. Mohana Priya ASP/ECE & IIC Convener motivated the students and given key note about the Entrepreneurship. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal gave the Presidential Address and articulated about the different funding agencies and funds were given to startups in order to support student ideas and encourage more innovative concepts for Proposals and Patents. In order to advance their education and thrive in society as Engineers, they should also take use of these chances. The Resource Speaker was introduced by S. Swetha from III year/ECE.
Mr. R. Shivram started the gathering by outlining the task of the organization as well as some noteworthy but outstanding statistics regarding the development and journey of the business to date. The traits common to successful people that Richard uncovered in his interviews and research were clearly explained to the students. The speaker discussed the importance of having a strong passion for bringing ideas to life, as well as the different facts of entrepreneurship and government programs aimed at launching new businesses following by that he addressed few startup success tales. The Resource Speaker answered various queries asked by the students.
Mrs. R. Bhuvaneshwari & Mrs. S. Vijaya AP/ECE are the faculty coordinators along with 90 students attended the meeting. Students’ feedback indicated that it was very helpful for the formation of new Entrepreneurs. Finally, third-year ECE student V.G.Preethi gave the vote of thanks.
