The Department of Chemical Engineering in association with the Alumni Association cell organised an Alumni guest lecture titled “Opportunities for Chemical Engineers” on 29.12.2023. The welcome address was given by Ms.G.Devadharshini of II Chemical Engineering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal gave the presidential address. In his address, he appreciated the alumni speaker and motivated the students to utilize this opportunity and be interactive during the session. Ms.P.Yogasri, from II year Chemical Engineering introduced the resource speakers.
Ms.M.P.Harinisri, Senior Analyst, from R1RCM Private limited Chennai was the alumni speaker. She briefly explained opportunities for chemical engineers in various sectors and industry, she also explained medical billing and coding for pharmaceutical students. She also covered industrial management and structures with suitable examples. She motivates the students to achieve their goals. Students attended the session very enthusiastically. Around 80 members participated in the Alumni guest lecture. Queries were clarified by the resource speaker and the Vote of Thanks was given by Mr.V.Sivabalan, II Year, and Chemical Engineering.
The convener R.Balasuramani, Head of the Department Chemical ,and Alumni Association cell coordinator , Mr.S.Sathish Assistant Professor, ECE and Department Alumni coordinator Ms.P.Indhumathi Assistant professor Chemical Engineering and the faculty members of chemical department , chemical and pharmaceutical studies were attended the session.
