The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Medical Electronics, Paavai Engineering College organized Inauguration of Pico-Red Club & Guest Lecture on “Life Skill Development Programme on Checkmate” on 18th September 2021. Ms. Safa Faren, Final Year B.E/Biomedical Engineering delivered the welcome address.
Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, motivated the students to actively participate in club activities and explained how to involve in different activities to enhance the career development.
Ms. Sandra Elizabath, third year B.E/Biomedical Engineering introduced the chief guest. Mr. G.N.Prabhu, Aptitude & Soft Skill Free Lancing Trainer, Salem. During the session, he explained about the Learning, Thinking ability, Awareness, and Time Management principles in the way of storytelling and through various activity engagements.
He portrayed awareness in a manner where it is a skill and is associated with a person as a habit. He conducted games on various parts collection of an individual object in order to prove the harness of team spirit. He organized a minute activity on color perseverance in order to enhance the person’s attention over a project. He made students to perform Alphabet identification and reverse numbering in order to provoke ignition of ideas towards the earnest things in fraction of seconds and improve one’s search of knowledge on his own interest.
He also delivered the actions to be followed to maintain the affinity of team spirit through a sneak peak story of siblings who undergone grudge feeling over their businesses without knowing the perception of business tactics each one follows. He encouraged the students to have positive thinking and be confident while facing the society after graduation and even after ages. Mr. Prabhu also enrolled students with a beautiful story of elder man who had honesty as his habit which has to be followed by every individual over their time being.
At last, the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. S.Vigneshwar , II B.E/ Medical Electronics where Totally persons from Department of Medical Electronics and Biomedical Engineering were benefitted from this program.
