The Paavai Institution’s Innovation Council, Paavai Engineering College organized a motivational session on “Achieving problem- Solution Fit and Product-Market Fit” on 31st January, 2023 with Mr. S. Harsha Vardhan Kumar, Managing Director, Sri SMS Textiles Pvt. Ltd, Cauvery Hi-Tech Weaving Park, Erode, as the resource person. This motivational session was coordinated by Professor Dr.K.Sundara Murthy along with Dr. S.Rajasekaran and other faculty members. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered the Presidential Address on the occasion. Ms.I.Naveena Evangelin, Final year, Biomedical Engineering student introduced the Guest Speaker Mr. S. Harsha Vardhan Kumar, Managing Director, Sri SMS Textiles Pvt. Ltd, Cauvery Hi-Tech Weaving Park, Erode. The guest speaker shared his knowledge on Startup and Entrepreneurship development among the students and the faculty members with many examples. Also he explained the difference between business, entrepreneurship and startup and the various government and private schemes available to fund these categories of businesses. He further explained how to identify the suitable scheme for our entrepreneurship or startup business from the many available government schemes. He also gave examples how even school students are able to generate innovative ideas for startups. The session was very energetic, interactive and informative. He answered the questions raised by the students. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. R. Mohana Priya, Associate Professor,/Electronics and Communication Engineering of Paavai Engineering College. The Management, Director-Admin, Principal and Staff members provided all the support to make the event a very successful one.
