One day seminar on the title “From Ideas to Success:Tips for Startups” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering jointly with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC -PEC), Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous) on 21.04.2023. Ms.R.Sharumathi, Third year student welcomed the gathering. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered his presidential address on this event, he elaborated the importance of startups.
Mr. L. Dhanush, Secondyear student introduced the speaker. Mr.V. Adesh, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Medford Technologies, Bengaluru was the resource speaker. He briefed how to launch your business and track progress against your plan. Also, narrated about the startup stages and he also explained about common challenges faced by startups. At the end of this seminar, the students have gained knowledge on skills in customer development, competitive analysis and iteration.
Faculty members and students have actively participated in the one day seminar and queries from the students were effectively answered by the speaker. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.S.Rubhini,Third year student and the session was very interactive and knowledgeable.
Prof.K.Sharmiladevi, HoD/Civil, Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Convenor, IIC-PEC, Dr.P.Pugalenthi, EDC Co-Coordinator, Mr.A.Jayapal, AP/Civil, Mrs.B.Karthiga, AP/Civil Faculty coordinators along with faculty members and students from various departments around 200 participants were present in the seminar.
