The Paavai Institution conducted a student development program titled ” Review and Re-view program” on 24.08.19, 17.09.19 and 27.09.19 at Brilliant Hall, PCE from 2.00 p.m. -4.30 p.m. for the 4th year, 3rd year and 2nd year students of Mechatronics Engineering department respectively. The speaker of the review and re-view meeting was Shri C.A.N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions. The Chairman who, himself is a source of motivation to students gave encouraging examples from his own life and inspired students to be a self – motivator. He discussed the importance of positive thinking and attitude which brings optimism into life and such constructive changes can make one brighter and more successful. This program helped students to develop a positive mind and drive by self-motivation. He interacted with the students and discussed about their academic performance. He focused on how one can program the subconscious mind to achieve success. He motivated the students to excel in study and career. During the workshop some videos were also played to motivate the students. He gave some most beneficial points and tips to the students to concentrate on studies and achieve their goals. He listed various opportunities for mechatronics students in public and private sectors. He also narrated success story of Dr. C. Palanivel, the founder of GEM hospitals and motivated the students by citing the incidents from the life of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. After the session students felt, much benefitted and were even willing to have regular sessions like this. The workshop also focused on making the students build positive ‘self-esteem’ and discover their true potential. It covered the key elements required for a student to be successful in academics and their future career.
