A one-day technical webinar titled “Session on Startups” was organized by the Department of Aeronautical and Civil Engineering in association with the Institution Innovation Council, Paavai Engineering College (Autonomous), on 27.08.2024. The event began with a warm welcome by P. Parthiban, a third-year student. L. Dhanush, a final-year student, introduced the resource speaker, Mr. G. Vasudevan, District Coordinator of EDII TN, Namakkal.
Mr. Vasudevan delivered an insightful exploration into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, focusing on the critical elements that drive the success and sustainability of new ventures. The session aimed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a roadmap to navigate the challenges of starting and scaling a business in today’s competitive market.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the webinar, and the speaker effectively addressed the queries from the students. M. Janathul Roshni, a second-year student, delivered the vote of thanks, marking the successful conclusion of the one-day technical webinar. The session was highly interactive and informative.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. K. Sundara Murthy, Vice President of IIC and Professor of Mechanical Engineering; Dr. R. Mohana Priya, Convenor of IIC and HoD of ECE; Prof. K. Sharmiladevi, HoD of Civil Engineering; A. Jayapal, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering; and B. Karthiga, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and IIC Event Organizer. Along with faculty members, around 80 participants attended the webinar.
