A webinar on the topic of “ How to approach GATE/ESE Exams ” was organized by the Mechanical Engineering department of Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal on 16.06.2021. The main objective of the program was to create awareness among the students about GATE/ESC exams and provide them direction to achieve high marks in these exams. The Guest Lecture was delivered by Mr.M.D.BaseetAlam, Teaching Faculty, ACE Engineering Academy, Hyderabad. The Welcome address was given by Professor A.P. Sivasubramaniam, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
The Chief Guest Mr.M.D.BaseetAlam was introduced by Dr.M.S.Vijayanand, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering. The chief guest clearly explained about the purpose, significance and benefits of GATE/ESE Exams in detail. He also gave inputs about how to systematically prepare for these exams and why basic knowledge of engineering subjects is essential. He also gave very useful tips on time management and methodical approach to study different types of engineering subjects. At the end of the webinar there was an interactive session in which the speaker answered the questions of the students and clarified doubts. The webinar was well received by the students.
