The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering conducted placement training on the title, “Interview Training Programme” on 16.08.2019 and 17.08.2019 at cute hall. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College presided over the function. Mr. Nivesh Prakash, Founder, AYRA Foundation, Bangalore, an Alumni student of batch 2010-2014 was the guest speaker of the day. The main theme of the training is to enlighten the minds of budding engineers in terms of resume building and personality skill development for their successful placement. A panel of three HRs namely Mr. Nivesh Prakash, Mr. Ajay Kumar and Mr. Arun Balaji trained the students. Eleven students from EEE and one student from CSE took part in this training. On the first day, HRs verified the resume of the students and instructed them, how to build a resume and what points should be included in it. In the afternoon, Nivesh Prakash met each student individually and observed their self-introduction and hold them how to present themselves in the interview. Next day, the HRs verified the edited resume of the students. By the meantime, several tasks were also conducted like turn court and jumbled words. At the afternoon session, a mock interview was conducted with technical round and HR round. These rounds were conducted similar to actual interview. Then the HRs shared their feedback about each candidate. The sessions ended as a very useful and effective session for the participants. Mr.S.Saravanan of final year EEE welcomed the gathering and Mr.R.Ragavendran of final year EEE proposed the vote of thanks.
