The Electronics club of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized an event – “TECHNICAL BUZZ” on 24th November 2021 from02.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. for the circuit branches of ECE, CSE, IT, EEE, BME, ME, MCT and Cyber Security. Dr.R.Mohana Priya, Associate Professor, Electronics Club coordinator along with student coordinators S.Ramachandra from final year, G.Anbarasan from the third year and G.Kannan from the second year ECE organized the event.
The event comprised of three rounds namely electronic components finder, electronic buzz words and electronics circuit connections. 43 batches participated in the first round out of which16 batches were shortlisted in the 2nd round and finally 5 batches in the 3rd round. The first round took place in the Main building seminar hall and students were made to identify buzz words related to circuit branches. The second round was conducted in Room No:213 where the shortlisted batches were displayed with different electronic components and made to identify it. The third round was conducted in the Digital electronics Laboratory. In the third-round students were given a circuit and asked to get the output. R.Naveen and M.Vignesh from the third year ECE bagged the first place, V.Naveen and N.Kamalesh from the second year MCT bagged the 2nd place and K.Sharmila and K.Bowthika from the second year IT got the 3rd place. The winners were distributed with a certificate at the end of the session.
Finally, the vote of thanks was given by M.Tamilmani, from final year ECE. Dr.R.Mohana Priya and Mr.Ravisankar K, Electronics Club coordinators, faculty members and more than 100 participants were present at the event.As per the feedback received from the students, it was a technical event where students were made to analyse and recollect their basic subjects.
