The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a guest lecture titled “Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality” on 06.08.18 at Kalams Chamber. Mr.Padmanabhan Srinivasan, Easy Design Systems (P) Ltd, Coimbatore, was the chief guest for the occasion. The function started with the prayer song. Dr.M.Prem Kumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he insisted the students to be a part in the progress of the mixed reality project. Dr.Pinnamaneni Bhanu Prasad, Research Advisor, Paavai Institutions, delivered his keynote address. He appreciated our college for the first usage of hololens for the entire country. Mr.Padmanabhan Srinivasan, Easy Design Systems (P) Ltd, Coimbatore, in his special address elaborated the scope of digital twin. Dr.R.Arangasamy, Head of the Department, Faculty members of ECE and the students from Paavai Institutions were also present. Ms.S.Shobana, Final year ECE, welcomed the gathering. Mr.Daniel Ebenezer, Final year ECE, gave a brief introduction about the Guest Speaker. Ms.A.D.Sanmathipriya, Third year ECE, gave the Vote of thanks.
