The Institution’s Innovation Council in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Paavai Engineering College has organized an online webinar on My Story -Motivational session by Successful Innovators through Microsoft team’s platform on 14.11.2021 from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Mr.V.Ashok Kumar, Managing Director,Vfaz Private limited, Coimbatorewas the resource speaker.Mr.Ram Prakash, an IIT Kharagpur student also addressed the gathering.
The welcome address was delivered by S.Keerthana, a third-year student of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal and President of IIC gave his presidential address. In his address, he emphasized the importance of organizing such programmes for is to create more entrepreneurs and for the benefit of students. He also added that the Make In India Mission is providing a lot of opportunities for skill development and to create young innovators, entrepreneurs.
Shanmathi.V from the second year ECE introduced the resource persons Mr.V.Ashok Kumar, Managing Director, Vfaz Private limited, Coimbatore and Mr.Ram Prakash, IIT Kharagpur student. The session was continued with the resource person. In his address, he discussed synergy and the spark that must be with every student. He also added that the students should enrich their knowledge by diversifying their minds apart from the normal curriculum.He discussed the importance of money, assets and liabilities while starting a running a business.He added that one innovative idea is enough to grasp the entire business market. Followed with his address, Ram from IIT explicated the different ways to start and run a business. He emphasized to the students about creative thinking, management skills, risk-taking abilities. He shared the stories of Zomato, Amazon, American megatrends. He also discussed about the social skills and the flexible mindset that one should possess for a start-up. He also explained about Funding at his end of the talk.Followed with his address, queries were posted by the students. The session ended with a vote of thanks by V.Yuva Bharathi from final-year ECE.
