The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Paavai Engineering College organized a One Day Workshop under AICTE-Margdarshan Scheme on the topic of “NBA Accreditation and SAR Preparation” on 28th March, 2023 at Smart hall. Dr. Manjunatha, Principal, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore and Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dean QASDC, New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore were the resource persons. The welcome address was given by Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal of Paavai Engineering College. The resource persons explained about the significance of NBA Accreditation process and how to prepare the Program Level Criteria and Institute Level Criteria for Self Assessment Report (SAR) with examples. The Program Level Criteria include Vision, Mission and Program Educational Objectives, Program Curriculum and Teaching – Learning Processes, Course Outcomes and Program Outcomes, Students’ Performance, Faculty Information and Contributions, Facilities and Technical Support, Continuous Improvement, and the NBA Institute Level Criteria include First Year Academics, Student Support Systems, Governance, Institutional Support and Financial Resources. He also elaborated on the process of uploading of documents in the website and cleared the doubts raised by the Deans, CoE, HoDs, and Faculty members. The Heads of various departments, NBA co-ordinators, senior faculty members participated in the session and benefitted.
