Industrial robots have various axis configurations. The vast majority of articulated robots, however, feature six axes, also called six degrees of freedom. Six axis robots allow for greater flexibility and can perform a wider variety of applications than robots with fewer axes.
Robotic Automation Systems employs 6-axis robots, also known as articulated robots, in flexible automation on both horizontal and vertical plastic injection molding machines for increased flexibility in upstream and downstream operations, utilization of a larger working envelope, and to address floor space or ceiling height constraints.
Articulated robots, or 6-axis robots, are easier to align to multiple planes, simple to operate and maintain, and easily redeployed for plastic injection molding automation applications on various types and sizes of plastic injection molding machines and for a wide range of upstream and downstream applications.Robots are those machines which are able to execute the duties that humans are either unable or prefer not to complete. Some robots are manufactured to do jobs which are hazardous to people like exploring mines, defusing bombs, etc.
Students design experimental robotic models, design production line robots with programmable arms, maintain and upgrade older production line installations, anticipate needs in new sectors and design robots with new applications, carry out regular checks on existing robotic models. Students are encouraged to do projects on robotic field of study like Automation, Micro-Robotics, Robot Motion Planning, Signal Processing, Robot Manipulators, Artificial Intelligence, CAD, CAM, and bio-cybernetics and so on.
The various application of robotic technology such as mining, ocean exploration, Nano-technology, surgery, modern warfare and space-exploration. All it requires to make a breakthrough in robotic engineering are skills like Innovative thinking, Analytical thinking, Creativity, Problem solving, mechanical skills, focus attention to achieve a product which satisfy the society needs.
A qualified robotic engineer will find increasing employment opportunities are. Plenty for qualified robotic engineer. The opportunities are open in the section of manufacturing industries, agricultural equipment, manufacturing firms, mining industry, nuclear power plants, and research division of mechatronics/electrical engineering.
