The department of Information Technology organized a one day National level Workshop “Entrepreneurship Workshop” in association with E-cell IIT Bombay on 26.9.2018 in Cute Hall of Paavai Engineering College. The function started with Prayer song. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Engineering College presided over the function. He gave the presidential address and he motivated all the students to start their own business and to become a very successful entrepreneurs. Mr.Balram Nair, Vice President, The Chennai Angels, was the chief guest. He gave the keynote address where he explained about entrepreneurship. He also encouraged all the students to start their own business. He gave a few tips and key points to start the business in a particular area and to modernize the business in the current competitive world. He encouraged the students individually to come out with business ideas and he clearly explained about the ways and means of developing the business. The chief guest divided the students into 8 groups and made them actively participate in the group discussion. He also invited the students to give their own views about business. At last he threw light on IIT-Bombay and also the value of the certificate. He was so interactive with the students. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College, was present.
