The department of electronics and communication engineering organized an event titled ‘ELECTRA-19’ (Paper Presentation and Technical Quiz) on 07.01.2019 at Kalam Chamber. Dr.M.PREMKUMAR, Principal Paavai engineering College presided over the function. In this presidential address, he insisted the students to improve their technical knowledge and communication skills to reach great heights in life. Dr.G.Balaji HoD/EEE and Dr.A.Suphalakshmi HoD/CSE were juries of the Technical Quiz and it was held at Kalam Chamber. Five rounds (Technical, Connections, Picture Identifications, Buzzer round and Rapideo) were conducted and the first three teams were awarded cash prizes. Dr.S.Vijayakumar Professor, ECE and Dr.S.Kumarganesh Professor, ECE were juries of Paper Presentation and it was held at Smart Class Room. Totally, 21 papers were shortlisted and students presented their innovative ideas. Cash Prize was awarded to the winners by the Principal and the juries. Dr.R.Arangasamy, Head of the department, faculty members of ECE and all the students from ECE department were also present. Miss P.Durga II year ECE welcomed the gathering. Mis E.Abbarna III year ECE, was the Quiz master. Mis N.Myvizhi IV year ECE, proposed the vote of thanks.
