The departments of Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering organized a one day workshop on “ENTREPRENEUR AND BUSINESS STARTUP” in association with Josh Talks and Facebook on 19.01.2019 in Kalam’s Chamber at Paavai Engineering College. The function started with the prayer song. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Directior-Administration, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he asked the students how many of them would become an entrepreneur after graduation and also motivated the students to start their own businesses. Mr.Amith Kumar, Co-Founder, Servercake, India and Mrs.Agrima Rathore, Campaign Manager, Josh Talks were the chief guests. In the session , Mr.Amith Kumar gave a brief introduction about the salient features of entrepreneurship and the basic qualities required for this task. He elaborated on giving guidelines to start and run a business successfully. He suggested that a good entrepreneur has to be determined in marketing. He highlighted the art of buying and selling by creating curiosity among people towards products. He listed out the government compliances for young graduates to start a business. Mrs Agrima Rathore, advised the students that they need to realize their self and they have to decide what they wish to become after their graduation. In her presentation, she visualized how the Facebook and Instagram were helpful to launch startups. At the end of the session feedbacks were given. The students Rishi Rahul, III year IT and Soundarya Final year CSE of Paavai Engineering College, introduced the chief guests. The valedictory function held at 4.30pm at Kalam’s Chamber. Mrs.Shanmika gave the vote of thanks.
