A one day workshop on the title “Application of Softwares and Vasthu in Construction” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, Paavai Engineering College on 29.06.2019 at Kalam’s chamber.
Chief guests – Dr.A.S.Matheswaran chairman / CEO United CADD solutions Ltd and Mr.S.S.Kumar, Vasthu consultant. Miss. S.U.Sushma, Second year student, Paavai Engineering college welcomed the gathering, Mr.P.Akshay, Third year student Paavai Engineering College gave a brief introduction about the chief guests.
Our respected Principal / Paavai Engineering college, Dr K.Premkumar, honoured the chief guest and gave his valuable presidential address about the field of Civil Engineering and role of Civil Engineer.
Dr.A.S.Matheswaran spoke elaborately about the importance of Application Softwares in the Civil Engineering field. Mr.S.S.Kumar Vasthu consultant explained about the Traditional Vasthu Shastra influence in India’s architecture during the Contemporary era.
He explained how to implement Vasthu law in present Construction. He briefed the Principles of Vasthu to be followed while planning, architecture of Indian history, culture and religion. He explained the factors governing Vasthu describing the Sun path and its effects. A good number of professors actively participated in program and were benefited. The queries from the students and faculties were effectively replied by the chief guests.
Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.K.Mohan, final year student and our one day workshop was successfully concluded.
