Department of Information Technology, Paavai Engineering College organized A Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Future Scope in IT” on 6th July 2020 to 10th July 2020 through online. Head of the Department / IT Mr.B.Venkatesan welcomed the gathering. In the presidential address, Dr.K.Selvi Dean Academics, motivated the faculty members by all means by making them to participate themselves in this programme.
The Day 1 class was on “Data Science” initiated by Mrs.C.P. ThamilSelvi, Associate Professor & Head, Sri Ranganathar Institute of engineering and Technology. “Intelligent Process Automation” subject was discussed on Day 2 by Dr.T.Velmurugan, Associate Professor, PG & Research Department of Computer Application, D.G.Vaishnav College. Mr.Sabarinathan Muthu , Technical Manager ,Gateway Software Solution elaborated the topic “Cyber Security” on Day 3.The topic “Deep Learning” was illustrated by Dr.S.V.Subburaj , Director , VVV College for Women on Day 4.Dr.M.Jaiganesh, Professor , CVR College of Engineering explained the topic “Hadoop: A Distributed Framework and Functionalities of HDFS”on Day 5.
Various highlights and application in all the topics helped us to understand better and the way they took the seminar made some impact on us and hoping that, this will improve our career to a greatest extent. It was very good learning experience.
